American chef Danielle Alvarez is no longer at the helm of this Oxford St favourite but her imprimatur remains in the DNA of this exceptional restaurant. Alvarez was all about seasonal good produce, done simply and well, served in this gloriously restored space. Things haven’t changed much since her departure, so expect soulful food and quality service in one of the suburb’s loveliest dining rooms.
